MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Family & Friends Weekend was terrific and I enjoyed seeing so many of you on campus. The turnout was solid, energy levels were high, and the response was strong to the array of activities offered. One of the areas I was asked about is our new collaboration with Wellesley College and the Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering. This agreement suggests exciting opportunities for our students on many fronts. Since the announcement, student government association leaders have met to develop a plan for new and expanded activities among the three schools. Faculty members have launched a joint initiative focused on research, teaching, and creative work in the area of environmental sustainability. Additionally, staff members are working to better align course schedules and enable students to take advantage of the substantial offerings of the three colleges. We will keep you posted on new developments in this multi-college collaboration as we move forward. All in all, it's one more reason why it's a great time to be a Babson student! |

Pictures from Babson's Overseas BRIC Program
Babson's newest overseas program, BRICs: The Cornerstone of the New Global Economy, immerses students in a semester-long exploration of the economic, cultural, political, and historical dimensions of the BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India, and China). Students travel to two of the four BRIC nations (Russia and China), where they combine onsite course work and meetings with business leaders, government officials, and academic leaders to hear and see firsthand how and why the global business landscape is changing.
